Do some early Christmas shopping! Come and browse the many unusual items for sale — Baked Goods, New Gifts, Christmas Decorations, Handmade Knitted Items, and Jewelery.

Last year’s Silent Auction and Wine Raffle were so successful we are holding them again.

Donations of homemade baked goods can be dropped off in the Church Hall on Friday November 14th between 5pm and 8pm, or on Saturday November 15th before the Bazaar. Please indicate if your baking contains nuts.

All proceeds from the Bazaar will go to various charities. Please come out and support this event with your family and friends and share in the St. Pius X community spirit over a cup of coffee or tea.

A Little History —

Saturday, March 22, 2025, marked 70 years since the establishment of the Catholic Women’s League at St. Pius X Parish. Our parish was founded in 1951 at the time of the beatification of Pope Pius X and was the first in the world to be named after him. By the time the church was built in 1954, Pope Pius X had been canonized, and our church was then re-named St. Pius X Parish.

The CWL has contributed its benevolent activities to the parish community unceasingly since 1955. Besides its members’ many volunteer hours donated to the life of the parish, it organizes two large and beloved events every year: the Spring Bake Sale and the Christmas Bazaar and Silent Auction. The CWL donates almost all the funds it raises  to local charities and also donates to the parish. The dinner celebration was joined by Fr. Mani and by Agnes Passee, Toronto Regional Chair of the CWL.

Our Sanctuary

Sponsoring the Sanctuary Candle

The red Sanctuary candle signifies the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It burns for the greater glory of God. Parishioners are invited to become monthly sponsors of the Candle. Please contact the parish office if you wish to donate. Doing so opens the opportunity for friends and families to pray at the tabernacle knowing the candle burns for their intentions.
